Judging by how many folks have questions when they pin some poor officer down at a social event and skewer him for a ticket they got two years ago, there are obviously lots of questions out there about what cops do.

Finally! Steve Pomper, an Active Duty Police Officer and author of, ldquo;Is There a Problem, Officer? A Coprsquo;s Inside Scoop on Avoiding Traffic Tickets,rdquo; (The Lyons Press, 2007) chats with folks about issues related to cop-citizen interactions.

Discuss:

Police work is like the old ldquo;Icebergrdquo; metaphor: You only see 10% of what cops do; the other 90% often remains a mystery, when there is usually a simplemdash;and non-sinistermdash;explanation. When they find out Steversquo;s a cop, theyrsquo;re surprised; they think hersquo;s unusual among cops. Remember, cops are different on and off dutymdash;and therersquo;s are very good reasons why.

Find Out:

	Why do six cops show up for a simple traffic stop, or suspicious person investigation?
	Why did the cops stop the guy just walking down the street doing nothing?
	Why did the cops have to be so rough with that person?
	Why donrsquo;t cops shoot to wound?
	Why do some cops seem so rude?

Lynne Lambert faced situations in her childhood that caused her to leave home at age 14. Without child services in place in the early 1970’s, she found herself living a life of crime for survival sake, .Ultimately, solitary confinement in a juvenile delinquent facility was the result of her endeavor,

Today, Lynne perceives this experience as a gift that changed her course in life. When striped of everything except her own thoughts she had an epiphany that caused a kick start for her new life creations. As you choose your thoughts you are creating your experience!

She has developed this epiphany into tangible formulas that help people achieve the life experience they desire. Whether addiction, weight loss or any situation in need of healing, Lynne’s formulas provide the mindset script needed for success.

Now a life coach, fitness trainer and author, she has mastered deliberate living by implementing her creation kick start formula. In her practice, Lynne teaches how and why your thoughts commence creation. She shares the methods that healed her life and will provide you with the tools that will heal yours.

Whatever you desire in life, Lynne can guide you to success as you bring your mind in to IT and bring your mind up to IT!

Most Baby Boomers unconsciously set themselves up to create future crises for their aging parents. Boomers have long let their fears or discomfort seduce them into putting off vital conversations with their elderly parents about finances, housing, or advance care planning. In today’s economy, those excuses could lend your parents AND you in the poor house.

This slogan, used in Massachusetts when I was learning to drive as a kid, is so simple and yet so true—so, why don’t we follow it?

Steve Pomper, an Active Duty Police Officer and author of, “Is There a Problem, Officer? A Cop’s Inside Scoop on Avoiding Traffic Tickets,” discusses the lack of courtesy and general incivility on our roads today. This behavior leads to traffic tickets, stress, Road Rage, and worse, needless injury and deaths on our roadways.

Why do we enter the car as Dr. Jekyll and become Driver Hyde?

Discuss:

Why does our behavior change when we’re driving?

Would you ever act the same way while pushing a shopping cart or baby stroller?

Where does the rage come from?

What happens when we focus on driving courteously?

What tools can we use to become more courteous drivers?

Veteran Seattle police officer and author Steve Pomper discusses why people sometimes act while driving a car in ways they’d never act in any other circumstance. To contact Steve for an interview email: stevepomper@stevepomper.com or phone: 206-579-2824, or visit www.stevepomper.com

The Korean War has become the “forgotten war”, but Susie tributes the men and women who served in the Korean War by sharing some amazing stories and images from a man who marched and climbed the hills, history now recognizes as some of the hardest fought battles: Heartbreak Ridge, Bloody Ridge and the Punch Bowl.

Lance Puig is a third generation real estate investor. His family has been investing in real estate consistently since 1935. Many types of real estate: ranches (23,000 acre ranch sold in 1896), medical office, shopping centers, multi-family, condos, raw land, single family homes…even an airport.

His grandfather (A.J. Puig) was the largest developer of single family homes in San Antonio, Texas. He built thousands of homes primarily for the returning veterans of World War II. “My grandfather and my grandmother worked side by side in the family business. She was the interior decorator and made many of the cosmetic decisions including architectural floor plans. They were constantly innovating…the first to add brick skirting to frame houses…also the first to use stone veneer in mass scale.”

Lance’s father (A. W. Puig) grew up working in the family business. While most kids walked home from school…he would walk to his father’s office for several hours of work. Going over ledgers, reviewing architectural plans, discussing the latest site acquisition…etc.

A.W. Puig went to medical school, became a radiologist but couldn’t stay away from real estate for long. He found a niche in medical office buildings… purchasing office buildings on hospital campuses around the country. He used his experience as a doctor and he experience in construction to create a portfolio of medical office buildings around the country.

Lance (like his father) grew up in real estate. “I remember as a very young child (about 5yrs old) inspecting building sites with my Grandfather. The smell of hot roofing tar still reminds me of him. “

“While most families sit around the dinner table talking of current events…the topic at our table was always real estate. “

He founded York Street Properties, Inc. after selling his first company (retail). He noticed that many investors were not focused on “passive” cash flow but on very speculative strategies. So, Lance deconstructed the principals that had worked for his family and then re-assembled them into a passive cash flow investment system.

Wersquo;ve been talking with Mr. Lance Puig a 3rd generation real estate investor. If you want to learn more about being a real estate investor or you are already a seasoned investor who wants to learn how to stream line your operation, go to: www. YorkStreetProperties.com

Bio:
Lance Puig is a third generation real estate investor. His family has been investing in real estate consistently since 1935. Many types of real estate: ranches (23,000 acre ranch sold in 1896), medical office, shopping centers, multi-family, condos, raw land, single family homeshellip;even an airport.
His grandfather (A.J. Puig) was the largest developer of single family homes in San   Antonio, Texas. He built thousands of homes primarily for the returning veterans of World War II. ldquo;My grandfather and my grandmother worked side by side in the family business. She was the interior decorator and made many of the cosmetic decisions including architectural floor plans. They were constantly innovating...the first to add brick skirting to frame houseshellip;also the first to use stone veneer in mass scale.rdquo;
Lancersquo;s father (A. W. Puig) grew up working in the family business. While most kids walked home from schoolhellip;he would walk to his fatherrsquo;s office for several hours of work. Going over ledgers, reviewing architectural plans, discussing the latest site acquisitionhellip;etc.
A.W. Puig went to medical school, became a radiologist but couldnrsquo;t stay away from real estate for long. He found a niche in medical office buildingshellip; purchasing office buildings on hospital campuses around the country. He used his experience as a doctor and he experience in construction to create a portfolio of medical office buildings around the country.
Lance (like his father) grew up in real estate. ldquo;I remember as a very young child (about 5yrs old) inspecting building sites with my Grandfather. The smell of hot roofing tar still reminds me of him. ldquo;
ldquo;While most families sit around the dinner table talking of current eventshellip;the topic at our table was always real estate. ldquo;
He founded York Street Properties, Inc. after selling his first company (retail). He noticed that many investors were not focused on ldquo;passiverdquo; cash flow but on very speculative strategies. So, Lance deconstructed the principals that had worked for his family and then re-assembled them into a passive cash flow investment system.
